The Pangere Corporation was awarded the contract to provide general construction services to build a new 7,000 square foot training facility for the Construction Advancement Foundation, a non-profit focused on construction safety) along with its team of subcontractors. The project is considered “one of a kind” for it is the only facility in the area to train all the local union construction trades in Lake, Porter, LaPorte, Newton, Starke and Jasper counties with the ability to use both classroom and hands on style of training. Pangere’s own workforce self-performed all carpentry work which included: structural framing, metal studs, sound insulation and drywall, acoustical ceilings, door frames and hardware, stainless steel kitchen cabinets and countertops.

• 30’ high bay area used for scaffolding and lift training 
• Scaffolding for fall protection training 
• Fully monitored confined space simulator which includes an 800 gallon underground storage tank 
• Open concept classroom and training 
• Energy efficient lighting and HVAC systems 
• New retention pond for site drainage 
• All construction material was made in America
