ITW Signode approached Pangere because of its experience in the steel industry to collaborate in the planning and construction of a new Coil Annealing Facility. Pangere used its vast industrial expertise to complete the project under a design-build agreement that would include all building construction, as well as the facilities process equipment integration.

Pangere's responsibilities for this project included:

  • Heating and air conditioning systems

  • Power ventilation systems

  • Plumbing and piping

  • Rough and finish carpentry

  • Standing seam roof systems

  • Industrial coating application

  • Interior control room finishes

  • Overhead doors, windows, and glazing

  • Multiple truck dock facilities

  • Architectural, civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical design

  • Custom 80' x 150' x 60' crane building

  • Site development and storm retention

  • Excavation and concrete foundation

  • Custom cooling water pits and platforms

  • Structural steel and crane support erection

  • New primary power feed

  • Lighting and power distribution

  • Masonry control room construction
